Duties
- Facilitate employee onboarding and orientation programs to ensure new hires are welcomed and integrated smoothly.
- Support employee evaluation processes by gathering data, preparing documentation, and assisting with performance management initiatives.
- Maintain accurate HRIS (Human Resources Information System) records, including data entry, benefits administration, and workforce management updates.
- Assist in benefits administration tasks such as enrollment, changes, and answering employee inquiries related to health plans, workers’ compensation, and leave policies like FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act).
- Support employee relations efforts by addressing routine inquiries, managing conflict resolution processes, and promoting positive communication across teams.
Skills
- Proven experience in administrative roles within human resources or related fields.
- Strong understanding of employment & labor law compliance, OSHA regulations, workers’ compensation procedures, and HR best practices.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Exceptional communication skills to interact confidently with employees at all levels while maintaining confidentiality.
- Ability to adapt quickly to change management initiatives and support organizational design efforts.
