Overview
Join our dedicated healthcare team as a part-time Nutrition Services Supervisor, where you will work cohesively with the Nutrition Services Director to monitor daily operations and coordinate the dietary operations within the hospital. This vital role involves coordination of the varied aspects of the food service establishment including quality patient services, retail operations, catering, food production, supply procurement, diet office, sanitation and ware washing. Your leadership will foster a positive, supportive atmosphere that emphasizes quality nutrition and compassionate care for our patients.


Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily dietary operations, including meal preparation, service, and sanitation standards in accordance with health and safety regulations
  • Manage dietary department staff by providing leadership, training, and supervision to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Assists with staff selection, development, training, standards of compliance and quality service standards.
  • Monitor budgets, control inventory, and ensure cost-effective management of food supplies and resources


Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Food & Nutrition or related field preferred.
  • Associate degree in Food & Nutrition, Hospitality Management required.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in managing care plans for diverse populations with complex nutritional needs or related job in a hospital or healthcare facility required.
