Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and be proficient in HVAC/R systems. This role involves installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. The HVAC Technician will work both independently and as part of a team to ensure optimal performance and efficiency of HVAC systems in residential and commercial properties.

Duties

• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC/R systems according to schematics and technical specifications.
• Troubleshoot issues with heating and cooling systems using diagnostic tools such as an ohmmeter.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on HVAC equipment to ensure proper functionality.
• Conduct appliance repairs as needed, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Collaborate with property maintenance teams to address HVAC-related concerns in a timely manner.
• Utilize mechanical knowledge to identify and resolve system malfunctions effectively.
• Weld or plumb as necessary for system installations or repairs.
• Document service calls and maintain accurate records of work performed.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role.
• Strong understanding of HVAC/R systems and principles.
• Proficiency in reading schematics and technical drawings.
• Mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform repairs on various appliances.
• Familiarity with tools used for service technician tasks, including diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• A valid driver’s license.

Schedule:

• 8-hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

Supplemental Pay:

• Overtime and incentive pay eligible.
